- Waterlea students need to attend school everyday and they need to be on time
- School starts each day at 8.50am and finishes at 3pm
- It they are going to be away or late you will need to contact the school office before 8.50am
- Late children come to the office to get a late card and register their name at reception.
- There are several ways to report an absence:
- Contact the school office if you wish to take your children early and you’ll need to fill out an early leaving form; If your child is going to be away sick for 3 days or more they will need a medical certificate
- If your child is absent and we haven’t heard from you, we will text you from 9.30am
- Please note that your child will be marked as truant if there is no reply to the absent text
- If your child is going to be on holiday during the school term, please advise the principal directly – andrea.jamieson@waterlea.school.nz
