- Waterlea students need to attend school everyday and they need to be on time
- School starts each day at 8.50am and finishes at 3pm
- It they are going to be away or late you will need to contact the school office before 8.50am
- Late children come to the office to get a late card and register their name at reception.
- There are several ways to report an absence:
- Contact the school office if you wish to take your children early and you’ll need to fill out an early leaving form; If your child is going to be away sick for 3 days or more they will need a medical certificate
- If your child is absent and we haven’t heard from you, we will text you from 9.30am
- Please note that your child will be marked as truant if there is no reply to the absent text. If your child is going to be on holiday, please let the office know the details in advance
